I work somewhere between engineering and art, mostly on things that are meant to disappear once they’re doing their job. Moving between disciplines comes naturally, without much concern for clean boundaries.
Systems that feel simple on the surface and remain complex underneath interest me. Technical, social, or cultural systems that don’t announce themselves while they work.
I make work public continuously. Sometimes published, sometimes released, often embedded elsewhere.
There’s no central outlet or fixed rhythm. Things surface when and where they belong.
Credit is given where it makes sense, and left aside when it doesn’t add anything.
You’ve probably encountered my work without realizing it. Sometimes that encounter took the form of something simply working: an arrival that happened when it should, a process that completed without friction. Systems like these rarely register as systems at all.
Music, film, and text are also part of my work. I move between building systems and making things to be heard, seen, or read, without treating these as separate practices.
I spent some years in New York and São Paulo, which left their imprint without needing explanation.
I’ve founded companies and enjoy thinking about organizations as machines, while being fully aware that they aren’t. Numbers and structure appeal to me, as does what happens when abstract models meet human behavior.
